Had the 1.5hr stone massage. Wonderful, don't plan to do anything afterwards other than drink lots of water! Jane is excellent and goes out of her way to tailor treatments to your individual needs.

I dont even know where to begin ... I went to Caren in a small panic after having her do my hair for my best friend's wedding (and it looked stunning!). This time it was my wedding ... I wanted to wear a headpiece my Mum wore on her wedding day 40+ years before and I couldn't find anyone who didn't make me look like a 12 year old little boy! I also have incredibly thick hair and was worried it would fall down and look a mess! I called Caren as I don't live in York and she booked me in an appointment when I came to York on the weekend. I loved it! It made me look and feel awesome and I just knew it was perfect! The morning of the wedding arrived and I couldn't think of anyone more perfect for the lovely shared girly moments on the morning with my two best girly friends - my hair looked INSANE and my bridesmaids looked fantastic! Caren also did all our make up which was so natural and made us all look just a prettier version of our normal self which was the request - perfect! She also did 2 little flower girls who I was worried wouldn't want to have their hair done but her calming nature and lovely bubbly, friendly personality made everyone at ease! The time came for the dress and the veil and also some gaviscon (I had had some random heartburn - clearly wedding jiiters) so Caren held a towel over me and across my dress and just helped in any way she could to ensure everything was done before we left the house - even including bundling me and my massive dress into a tiny classic car! Caren - I cant thank you enough and I will recommend you to everyone and anyone for just a WONDERFUL wedding experience - THANK YOU for making the morning of my day, my hair and my make up truly wonderful ... i really couldn't have done it without you!
