Nationally locating any specific vehicle make and type at a customer's request. Ensuring any repairs necessary are done prior to passing the vehicle onto their customer.

Great service and fast. The team are really friendly and are always ensured that I was kept up to date with any progress. Each time I use this garage they phone me if any further work is needed to make sure I’m happy to continue. Would definitely recommend to friends.

iv used Joe Brookshaw for many years and have always found him to be a first class mechanic with a service second to now . very polite and always ready to takeing on any job no matter how small or big and if you require your car urgently will do his upmost to fit it in and get the job done as quickly as possible enabeling you to get back on the road . i would recommend him to anyone who needs and work to be done on their car. just had my car breaks renewed and MOT`D at Joe Brookshaws today 16th May i expected it to take a couple of days done complete in 5 hours and cost me less than id expected . very pleased is an understatement . Superb service from Ryan Watts. Under two hours from start to finish, trading in my Fiesta for a second hand Focus. Most hassle-free car purchase I have ever made. Ryan knew his stuff and sorted everything out professionally and quickly. Nothing was too much trouble. Have bought several cars from Stoneacre - in Scarborough and York - and would definitely recommend them.

My wife and I, bought a new car from Stoneacre York, last week. The car is the Ka+ and the car is great, just right for running to work /shopping. But trying to get the salesmen to listen to what we asked for, was hard work. All they seem to want is to sell you extras. Extended guarantees and some fancy paint protection . The paint should be of a high standard to start with. And if the car is built right it should be reliable. We asked for the car to be registered in my name (several times) but when we get the log book it's registered in my wife's name. so now we have to get it altered. just wish they would pay attention. will have to think about if we go back to them next we change car. Many thanks to Chris Woods for his help in resolving this matter. We were pleased that he took the time.to get back to us so quickly. And made us feel that our opinion mattered. The follow up service was first class. Thank you very much. Look forward to seeing you for our next car.

Got a great price for selling my car much more than at the garage I bought my new car from. You do have a bit of a wait for them to give a valuation but the waiting area is nice and airy with refreshments so not too bad. Overall a painless experience and staff were very friendly and helpful especially Charlie who did my valuation. Would definitely use them again.

I purchased a vehicle here yesterday. Initially I was interested in a particular model I had seen online, but it wasn't as I had hoped it would be in reality (too small). EH have a fantastic range of vehicles and Matt Hodgson very patiently helped me choose the right car for me. He was very thorough and professional, and made the whole process as easy as possible. Very impressed with Vauxhall York. Bought my car new from there nearly 3 years ago. Today it passed its first MOT with flying colours (despite having £50,000 miles on the clock) and the one issue it had was fixed for free under warranty. Upon on arrival, I was greeted warmly by two sales people. I explained the reason for my visit and Jordon O'Connor dealt with it efficiently. I was offered a seat and a hot drink while he dealt with my request. Jordon is friendly and professional. He spent time with me discussing my options and directed me to the right department for further assistance. Jordon should be the face of Evans Halshaw.

Auto garage (and business) done right! These are the kind of people that anyone with a car (and not a lot of knowledge, like me) would want to work with. Clearly very capable and knowledgeable, but also very helpful and exhaustive in their process, and always make sure they've done their best to address the issue. Very good attitude and unparalleled work ethics. Friendly and accommodating. I've tried others in York before, but honestly, I am more than happy to take the car all the way from the complete opposite side of town to FR Pulleyn than go to anyone else.

Wouldn't go anywhere else now, after a Hull company left my exhaust hanging loose, Mercedes York recommended these people, they do a proper, careful job and leave the car spotless and everything back as it was. Good to deal with too.

BMW seem unable to give you an accurate service quote. You phone up to book it in and they say they will have to read the key to see what service is needed and therefore cannot provide a quote on the phone. Then you get there on the day and they scan the key. Then they say “it will be about £250”. Then when I picked the car up, they act like they’ve done you a massive favour and it’s “actually just £206”. How hard can it be to quote an accurate price for a service? Audi can tell me how much my service will cost, to the penny, when I book it in with them! Come on Coopers! Other than this, the experience was really good!

Really pleased. Dropped car in for a service, got a courtesy car and speedy turn around on my own. They also noted some work that could be done on the car but wasn't urgent, and they didn't push me to get it done un-necessarily early. Very pleased, will be back in the future.

Very well priced parts especially if you order online and use the discount codes they always have on, also if you click and collect you can usually set off straight away and they will already have the items ready for you.

Great for general service parts like oil and filters etc. I bought a brand new alternator from them for it to fail after less than 50 miles. It cost me recovery and a day off work. When telling them this on the phone they told me I would be sorted with some sort of good will gesture on returning it. Upon returning, the manager (York store) was rather rude and told me no one would say such thing (also no one in the store admitted to telling me this) and it's just 'how it is'.

I bought a car seat from hear last October, the staff are great, really knowledgeable and helpful. I took the car seat back today as it had a fault and within 10 minutes they had taken it out of my car to send away to be repaired or replaced and let me borrow a seat while mine is being repaired, they even fitted it for me. Amazing customer service, I will buy all future seats from here and will reccomened it to friends and family
