York Garrison - Shopping around Earswick

Really pleased with service from Evans Cycles York last week. I had ordered two parts, and booked for their fitting. Turned up to find out they had not arrived and they did not know where they were. Although for a short while they looked like they could not manage, the Manager found one of the missing parts and insisted they took the other off a bike for sale to fulfil the service. Have bought both my road bike and my son's from them in the last 3 years and v pleased with them both.

Best service I have received in York. No hesitation to take as much time with me as I liked. Solid advice and honesty when they didn't know an answer. Obtained a comparison price, and price matched without my asking. A "Can-do" attitude, rather than a "don't bother me" one. Removed a handlebar from a stem, then refused payment. These guys actually like their work and their customers.

Great advice, range of bikes and parts from classic lightweights through carbon fibre to about town runabout and MTBs. Excellent repairs. Used many times. Highly recommend.

Just picked up my son's bike. The customer service was great. The price was good and the order came very fast. The shop was smaller than some bike shops but the attention to detail was great. No pushy sales, just good honest information. This will be the only bike shop I will be using from now on. I recommend this shop to anyone wanting a new bike. The service won it for me. They even threw in a free cycle lock in an already well priced deal. Well done Haxby Cycles.
